“By 2100, our destiny is to become like the gods we once worshipped and feared. But our tools will not be magic wands and potions but the science of computers, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and most of all, the quantum theory.” ~Michio Kaku, Physics of the Future: How Science Will Shape Human Destiny and Our Daily Lives by the Year 2100

I’m a huge fan of Prof. Kaku, he makes QT understandable! Like Arthur C. Clarke said, “Magic’s just science that we don’t understand yet.” The future is always exciting if we open ourselves up to it. Thanks for posting the links also. 😀
I, too, enjoy the works of Michio Kaku. I read one of his books some years back, and I recently watched him speak in videos on YouTube. He has an incredible ability to explain the otherwise inexplicable in a concise and fun manner. I am familiar with that Clark quote, too. It’s a great quote. Incidentally, so much of magic is created right out of science, particularly the illusions. Penn and Teller, as well as Derren Brown, all have talked about the science involved in magic.
The future can be exciting, even though unknown and uncertain, for that is an element of the excitement.
Great Articles and Photos!
Thank you very much. 🙂
I am enthusiastic about the sort of magic that technology used well can bring.
As am I. I look forward to witnessing the effects of technology used well unfold.
